Kent Olson

Kent started DSG with the focus on Residential Land Development. His experience and knowledge served him well to help identify properties “highest & best residential use” as the area was starting to enjoy a dramatic growth period. Since 2012, Development Solutions Group has procured over 6,500 residential lots in the Greater Charlotte area, creating new housing opportunities for all demographics.

Prior to starting DSG, Kent was the founding partner in Nu-South Homes, a semi custom Builder that built over 300 homes and creating over 10 Communities that featured Town Homes from $125k ea to $1M+ Custom Homes. As the market changed, Kent explored the commercial and multi-family markets, gaining knowledge of land procurement, land use strategies, zoning mitigations, public policy and community development. Kent and his team are working with local municipalities to bring quality residential opportunities, and generate maximum economic development.
